Are you planning already the last party of the year? If your children are too young to stay awake until midnight, you may want to consider one of these 10 family-friendly New Year's Eve parties:

New Year's Eve in the Wild
Enjoy candlelight hiking, snowshoeing and ice skating, sledding a lit hill, bonfires, live animals from Dakota Wild Animals, storytelling by Roy Edward Power, magic by Matt Dunn, a ball drop and more on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014 from 5–8 p.m. at the Lebanon Hills Visitor Center.
More than 1,200 luminaries will light more than 2 miles of hiking, snowshoeing and ice skating trails.

Admission: $8/person if pre-registered by Dec. 30; $10/person at the door. Ages 5 and younger are free. Registration begins September 1, 2014.

Noon Year's Party
Como Zoo organized one of the most popular children's New Year's Eve parties. It is so popular that they're doing it twice! The Noon Year's party features entertainment by KidsDance! There will be craft making, special animal enrichment, giveaways, and a countdown to noon with hundreds of beach balls dropped from the ceiling.

Sparkle-Rama
Dress up your little superstars in their favorite getup and rock out at the Children's Museum's New Year's Eve Party! Join the best kid-friendly party in town, called Sparkle-Rama: dance to live music from Will Hale and the Tadpole Parade , create sparkling masterpieces and bejeweled artworks, take to the stage like rock stars with inflatable guitars, count down to the magical ball drop at 8 p.m.

Admission: $10 per member and $14 per non-member. Price includes snack and admission to the Museum. Registration is recommended and space is limited. Save $2 off each ticket when you register before December 12.

New Year's Eve Event
Celebrate the new year with family fun at the Plymouth Ice Center and Life Time Fitness. Attractions will include ice skating, crafts, face painting, entertainment, swimming, inflatables, food, games and open gym time.  Online registration will be available after Dec. 9.

New Year's Eve Bash at Buck Hill
Celebrate New Year's Eve at Buck Hill Ski Area! Don't miss the coolest party in the cities. We go all out for our annual NYE celebration. Considered a must for many, this traditional Minnesota event is a great choice for all ages. New Year's Eve Party
Ring in the New Year with your family at Edinborough Park! We celebrate "kid style" by offering dancing, face painting, noise makers, hats and of course full access to Adventure Peak. Tickets available at Edinborough Park beginning Dec. 1.

New Year's Eve on Ice
Ring in the New Year on ICE! Bring your family, meet your friends at the Roseville Skating Center for the largest skating party in Minnesota. Skate indoors at the Arena or outdoors on the OVAL where we have 4 hockey rinks and an Olympic size track for leisure skating. A great way for the entire family to have a fun and safe New Year's Eve.

New Year's Eve Celebration
Check out our brand new facility and celebrate New Year's Eve as a family! Games, moonwalks, obstacle courses, bingo, ice skating, music and more will make this evening a fun night for all! Door prize drawing will be held at 7:30 p.m. followed by the big countdown to 2015 at 7:45 p.m.

Candlelight and Ice New Year’s Eve Program
Celebrate the New Year at Wood Lake with family and friends! Follow hundreds of candle-lit luminaries on a trail through cattails and trees while on the lookout for deer, fox, and owls. Roast marshmallows over a crackling fire or warm up inside with hot cocoa. Make a craft, play a game, or just sit back and relax. No pre-registration; doors open at 6:00 pm.

Dance the Year Away!
Grab your dancing shoes because you're invited to a fun party for the whole family! "The

along. But that's not all! Swimming, skating, Maple Maze, inflatables, crafts and a 9:45 p.m.
balloon drop all make for a great way to welcome in 2015.
